The results of the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 were declared today, with 958 candidates recommended for prestigious services including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS). Reported by NDTV.

Among the successful candidates is Anita Deora, the daughter of a farmer from Bhopalgarh in Rajasthan, who secured the 644th rank and earned a place in the IAS, bringing immense pride to her district.

Anita belongs to a farming family, and her mother played a crucial role in supporting her education. Despite working in the fields, Anita's mother ensured that she could continue her studies. She also provided financial support and helped send her to Delhi for further education.

Her family also shares a connection with the civil services. Anita’s uncle, Chetan Devda, is a retired IAS officer, while other relatives serve in important roles such as senior railway officials, Additional District Magistrates (ADMs), professors, and village development officers.

Anita decided to pursue a career in the civil services after topping her Class 12 examinations. Through dedication and consistent hard work, she achieved her dream of becoming an IAS officer. Her success has sparked celebrations not only in Bhopalgarh but across the Jodhpur district.

She completed her schooling at Saini School in Bhopalgarh until Class 12, where she also topped the block level in the Class 12 board examinations.

The UPSC interview process began in January 2026 and was conducted at the commission’s headquarters at Dholpur House on Shahjahan Road in New Delhi. The interview, also known as the personality test, carries 275 marks.

According to the official notice, the commission withheld the results of two candidates, while the results of 348 recommended candidates have been kept provisional.
