New call-to-action

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra welcomed their first child on July 15, 2025. In a recent appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast, the actress reflected on motherhood, emotional vulnerability, and the support system that helped her navigate the postpartum period.

According to NDTV, Kiara Advani became emotional while discussing how motherhood brought a significant transformation in her life and identity.

She revealed that there were moments when her emotions felt overwhelming, especially while Sidharth Malhotra was busy promoting one of his films.

"There was a point where my emotions were going all over the place, and he was promoting his movie. So he would come late at night, stay with the baby and me, and then return to work in the morning.

At that time, I don't know if it was me missing him at that point in time or what, but everything was triggering me. Anything would make me cry," Kiara shared during the podcast.

The actress further explained how Sidharth made conscious efforts to help her emotionally recover and adjust to her new routine as a mother.

According to NDTV, Kiara revealed that even their daughter’s pediatrician advised Sidharth to take her out regularly for fresh air and a mental break from the repetitive cycle of feeding and sleeping schedules.

"I remember my daughter's pediatrician told him, 'just take her out for a drive every night. She needs to be out there, let her get the fresh air, let her breathe because it becomes a routine to sleep, feed the baby.' He would take me out for a drive every night. Sometimes I just wanted to vent without getting advice in return," she said.

Kiara also highlighted how emotional support and simply having someone listen without immediately offering solutions became important to her during that time.

According to NDTV, Kiara Advani resumed work in December 2025, just five months after giving birth to Saraayah. The actress also shared that she continued filming for Toxic during her pregnancy and worked on the project for nearly seven months, including performing physically demanding action sequences.

Her candid conversation about postpartum emotions, motherhood, and partnership has resonated with many women online, especially those navigating similar experiences after childbirth.
