Two brothers of Indian descent, Abhijeet Abhijeet, 26, and Robin Gartan, 27, are being sought by the Homicide Squad detectives following a violent dispute at a party in Ormond, Melbourne. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, May 5, resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man and left another man, aged 30, seriously injured.

The altercation, which spilled onto the footpath from a property on North Road, prompted the brothers to flee in a stolen 2014 white Toyota Camry sedan with registration 1ZO 2QW. Witnesses described several drivers stopping their cars to aid the injured victims.

At the scene, investigators found a suitcase, clothing, and foreign currency scattered across the footpath and road. Although the motive for the dispute is yet to be determined, police believe the brothers were acquainted with the victims, ABC news reported.

Local residents described the men residing at the North Road property as friendly, noting their occasional social gatherings in the front yard without disturbing the neighbourhood.
