Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma ‘kicked out’ of a café? Jemimah Rodrigues shares the real story

India all-rounder Jemimah Rodrigues has narrated a humorous incident involving Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma during a New Zealand tour, where a long chat with the couple ended with café staff asking them to leave, Times of Indiareported.
Rodrigues, speaking on The Bombay Journey YouTube show, said she and Smriti Mandhana once approached Kohli for batting tips. “He told us to come down to the café,” she recalled. Anushka Sharma soon joined the group, and the discussion began with cricket before turning into a casual conversation.
For the first half hour, Kohli motivated the duo with an inspiring message: “You both have the power to change women’s cricket… the change you can bring is going to be big and massive.”
The chat carried on for nearly four hours. “We just spoke like long-lost friends meeting and chatting,” Rodrigues said, laughing as she remembered how it all ended. “The only reason we stopped was because the café staff kicked us out. They said, ‘That’s it, it’s done now. It’s 11:30, you need to leave.’”
