The anticipation around Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited epic film ‘Ramayana’ is set to rise further as the makers prepare to begin the film’s musical campaign on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, as reported by TOI.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in key roles, the film will unveil its much-awaited ‘Siya Ram’ poster before releasing the first song from its soundtrack, ‘Jai Jai Ram’.
According to TOI, the ‘Siya Ram’ poster is scheduled to be unveiled at 7:30 AM IST on September 14, marking the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The announcement has generated considerable excitement among fans who have been eagerly waiting for the first official glimpse of the film.
The poster will be followed by the release of ‘Jai Jai Ram’, which will serve as the first musical offering from the film. TOI reported that the song has been composed by AR Rahman, with lyrics penned by Dr Kumar Vishwas. Renowned singers Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh have lent their voices to the track.
The coming together of AR Rahman, Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh has further increased curiosity around the song. Their collaboration is expected to give the first musical release of ‘Ramayana’ a significant place in the film’s promotional campaign.

TOI noted that the musical launch marks an important stage in the promotional journey of ‘Ramayana’, which is being mounted as an ambitious two-part adaptation of the Indian epic. The film has already generated significant interest because of its large-scale production and high-profile cast.
Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ is being planned as a two-part cinematic adaptation of the epic. Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi will take on the role of Sita. Yash will play Ravana in the film.

Part One is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 6, while its India release is planned for November 8, 2026. The second instalment is scheduled to arrive during Diwali 2027.
