Udaipur transformed into a global celebrity hotspot on November 21 as several Bollywood stars and international VIPs attended the grand sangeet ceremony of Netra Mantena, daughter of US-based billionaires Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena. The festivities, marked by high-profile performances and star appearances, have since gone viral on social media.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, A series of videos from the ceremony show Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh stealing the spotlight. In one widely shared clip posted by Wizcraft Weddings, Ranveer is seen getting Donald Trump Jr and his girlfriend Bettina Anderson to join him on stage.
The couple initially danced together before Ranveer playfully stepped in, making them groove to What Jhumka? from his film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Bettina stunned in a gold lehenga-choli, while Ranveer looked sharp in a black suit.
Ranveer kept the energy high throughout the night, leading guests in a dance to Aankh Marey from Simmba and later entertaining the crowd with a rendition of Apna Time Aayega from Gully Boy.
The extravagant event, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, saw performances from Janhvi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez, each dancing to popular tracks from their films, as reported by Hindustan Times.
The guest list included Indian celebrities, global billionaires, and international personalities, who arrived in Udaipur for the upcoming wedding of Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju, co-founder and CTO of Superorder.
Adding to the star power, global icons Justin Bieber and Jennifer Lopez also performed at the celebration, further elevating the scale of the festivities.
