Music enthusiasts are in for a treat as 16 talented singers and musicians from New Zealand gear up to captivate audiences with a melodic extravaganza. Organized by CFI Events, a renowned creative agency specializing in event production and management, this year's musical event, 'The Jam Lounge - Unwind', promises to be a delightful experience for all attendees.
CFI Events has a track record of bringing big names to the stage of New Zealand, including the likes of Arijit Singh. The agency was also partly involved in managing Sunidhi Chauhan's recent concert in Auckland, which received rave reviews from attendees. Ram Iyer, the director of CFI Events and a musician himself, shared with the Indian Weekender the motivation behind this musical gathering. He expressed his belief in nurturing local talent, stating, "There is so much talent in New Zealand and so many singers that work hard, we should nurture such talents."
In addition to Bollywood music shows, Ram Iyer has been actively organizing community events featuring Ghazals, Classics, and musical jams. The songs composed by the team are usually an adaptation of Coke Studio songs – reimagined and originally composed after meticulous rehearsals, promising a unique and enchanting musical experience.
The utilization of a diverse range of instruments, such as the saxophone, guitar, keyboard, drums, and tabla, will further elevate the evening's musical journey.
With 20 years of experience in the industry, Ram Iyer is not only a successful businessman but also a passionate musician. He emphasized the dedication and hard work that goes into each performance, revealing, "Music is our passion, and it takes 6 hours of practice every four weeks, after our working hours, to rehearse before the show. So, there is a lot of hard work and hours of practice that goes into it."
