Priyanka Chopra’s Grand Return To Indian Cinema

The wait is finally over. The makers of SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated action-adventure film, starring superstar Mahesh Babu, have unveiled the first look of Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Mandakini.

Tentatively titled SSMB29, the film marks Priyanka Chopra’s grand return to Indian cinema and her first-ever collaboration with the visionary filmmaker behind RRR and Baahubali.

The striking first-look poster shows Priyanka in a fierce and commanding avatar, dressed in a mustard yellow saree, holding a gun, and charging forward across a rugged, windswept landscape. Her intense expression and the dramatic composition hint at a powerful and layered character.

Sharing the poster on social media, the actress wrote, “She’s more than what meets the eye… say hello to Mandakini.”The film’s tagline, “The World of Globetrotter,” further adds intrigue to the project.

Touted to be one of the most ambitious Indian films in recent years, Globetrotter is reportedly inspired by African exploration adventures, promising a blend of mythology, mystique, and cinematic grandeur.

Earlier, Rajamouli had revealed the first look of Mahesh Babu on the actor’s 50th birthday, a rugged close-up featuring a rudraksh mala with trishul and Nandi pendants, sparking speculation about mythological elements in the storyline, reported NDTV.

The director also introduced Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha, described as “sinister and ruthless.” His first-look poster showed him in an all-black outfit, seated in a high-tech wheelchair, an image that sent fans into a frenzy online.

The makers have confirmed that the official title and first teaser of Globetrotter will be unveiled on November 15, 2025, at a grand launch event at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The event will be live-streamed on JioHotstar, giving fans across the globe a front-row seat to one of the biggest cinematic announcements of the year.

With Rajamouli at the helm and a stellar cast led by Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Globetrotter is already shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle audiences won’t want to miss.
