The couple, who got engaged in December 2024, are preparing for an intimate yet glamorous wedding in Los Angeles’ Santa Barbara, California.

According to News24, the ceremony will be attended by close friends and family, with several high-profile names from the music and entertainment industry expected to join. The couple has enlisted top wedding planner Mindy Weiss to organize the event at El Encanto, a luxury resort in Santa Barbara owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen. The resort has been fully booked for the weekend, with rooms starting at $3,500 per night as many guests plan to stay over.

To ensure privacy, Selena and Benny are spending nearly $300,000 on security, including guards, closed entrances, and patrols to block fans and paparazzi. In total, their wedding budget has reportedly crossed $5 million. Guests will be picked up and driven to the venue without being told the location in advance, creating an extra layer of secrecy and excitement, News24 noted.

Expected attendees include Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, and Taylor Swift, although Swift’s fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce, won’t make it due to a scheduled game in Kansas on September 29. Oscar winner Meryl Streep, Selena’s co-star in Only Murders in the Building, is also linked to the wedding but her attendance remains uncertain due to work commitments.

More than 170 guests are expected, according to News24, including friends who joined Selena’s bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas in August. The guest list is also likely to feature Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, along with Benny Blanco’s musician friends.
