The Baweja family, creators of the acclaimed Chaar Sahibzaade films, are returning with a new animated feature titled Hind Di Chadar – Guru Ladho Re, a prequel and the final instalment of the franchise. Produced by Baweja Studios and directed by Rowena Baweja, the film revisits the life and supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Ninth Sikh Guru. It will be released worldwide on 21 November, 2025.

Taking to social media, Baweja Studios shared the trailer and mentioned, "On the 350th Shaheedi Diwas, we bow in deep reverence to the Ninth Guru of the Sikhs through the sacred retelling of the eternal Saka “Hind Di Chadar – Guru Ladho Re” which is the last Movie of the Chaar Sahibzaade series."

The teaser, released ahead of Harman Baweja’s birthday, offers a first look at the 17th-century narrative centred on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s stand against Emperor Aurangzeb and his defence of faith and freedom.

New call-to-action

In speaking about the film, Harman Baweja said, “For me, it’s important to tell stories that reflect our roots, stories of courage, sacrifice, and humanity. Hind Di Chadar – Guru Ladho Re is more than just a film; it’s a tribute to the spirit of our history and the values that continue to guide us even today.”

Director Rowena Baweja added, “This story holds deep meaning for us. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s sacrifice is a timeless reminder of what true strength and compassion look like.
