Auckland Museum to light up for India

As a part of celebrations of 70 years of Indian Independence, the iconic Auckland War Museum will be lighted in Indian tricolour on the evening of August 15, 2017.

A cultural and food festival will also be arranged 5:30 p.m. onwards on August 15 at the Museum. There will be a DJ playing music with impromptu dance performances in the backdrop of the tricolour lit Museum.

Everyone is invited to be a part of this historic moment as the first time ever in New Zealand an iconic building is being lit on the occasion of India’s Independence Day.
