Indian SC rules on Live-In relationship in landmark judgement

The Supreme Court of India in a modern and landmark judement has held that live-in relationships between a consensual male and female, are "neither a crime nor a sin".
Supreme court also asked Parliament to frame a law for the protection of women in such relationships, and children born out of them.
"Live-in or marriage like relationship is neither a crime nor a sin though socially unacceptable in this country. The decision to marry or not to marry or to have a heterosexual relationship is intensely personal… various countries have started recognising such relationship.", a bench headed by Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan said.
