Manukau Indian Association joins hands with Humm 106.2 FM

Humm 106.2 FM has joined hands with Manukau Indian Association as their media partner to promote and participate in all their Community Events and programs.
Manukau Indian Association is the Principal South Auckland based organisation and is committed to various cultural, health and educational programs during the year.
The Association was established in 1979-1980 and has been active since then. It will be active for a long period in future (NZ Indian Central Association was formed in 1926 and still active representing all other Indian Associations.).
Humm 106.2 FM is the newest buzz of the airwaves in Hindi Radio transmitting programs on 106.2 fm frequency in Auckland.
Humm 106.2 FM is committed to bringing the Indian Community together by participating and providing a platform for Community Organisations , like the Manukau Indian Association.
An agreement was signed on the 15th of June, 2012 between Manukau Indian Association and Humm 106.2 FM in order to bring to the people of the Indian Community better programs and events in the future.
Satyan Prasad, the managing director of Humm 106.2 FM and Balubhai Mistry, The President of Manukau Indian Association announced, among others, their first major program together for Diwali in November this year.
Mr. Prasad took the opportunity to re-iterate the fact that Humm 106.2 FM will do its utmost to support Community Organisations to promote their events and cultural programs through its platform.
