New Zealand's Trade Commissioner and Consul-General to India Ralph Hays met Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan in Mumbai on 6 May.
Hays has served across several different markets during his time with NZTE, including as New Zealand's Trade Commissioner and Consul-General to Brazil based in São Paulo, and as a business development manager for Spain and Portugal based in Madrid. He is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
Hays posted his picture along with his wife Sonia and Shahrukh Khan on social media with a caption- "Thank you, Shah Rukh Khan, for the invitation for my wife Sonia and I to meet and spend time discussing the magical world of cinema and cricket. I enjoyed our chat about your trips to New Zealand and your incredible career journey from your humble beginnings in New Delhi to now. I look forward to connecting again soon."
Ralph hails from Invercargill, New Zealand's southernmost city, and holds a Master's in business administration from Massey University.
