New Zealand’s newest mobile network company, 2degrees, has released two new pre-pay international Talk Packs. The India120 and China120 International Talk Packs provide 120 minutes of calling time to any mobile or landline in those countries for just $10.
The new Talk Packs, combined with the recently released $10 Text Pack, the $6 50MB Data Pack and the Everyone100 Talk Pack, means that 2degrees pre-pay customers can enjoy even better value on the things they use the most.
According to Larrie Moore, chief marketing officer for 2degrees: “These new calling packs are ideal for those people in New Zealand who want to contact friends and family back home in India, China and Hong-Kong at fantastic prices.”
The India120 and China120 (which includes calls to Hong-Kong) provide great calling rates – effectively 8.3c per minute - to call countries that many new New Zealand, students and visitors call on a regular basis.
“At such a low rate, why would you deal with complicated international calling cards and risk poor call quality, when you can call home whenever you want directly from your mobile?” said Larrie.
The new Packs are available for purchase by texting a shortcode to 233.

The Packs are valid for 30 days, and can be purchased multiple times each month.
More than 200,000 New Zealanders have joined 2degrees since it launched in August 2009 with the promise of bringing better value to New Zealand mobile users. More than 75,000 of these customers have brought their number with them from another mobile network.
