New Zealand Indian Central Association in association with the Auckland Indian Association has organized a public reception for visiting Indian Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Mr Vayalar Ravi.
“This is a great opportunity to hear from and mix and mingle with the Hon Minister and our own High Commissioner of India His Excellency Admiral (Retd) Sureesh Metha,” Raj Thandi, General Secretary of NZICA told Indian Weekender.
The event is being held at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre, 145 New North Road, Eden Terrace, Mt Eden, Auckland, on Sunday, June 20 at 5.00 pm. The minister’s address will commence at 5.30 pm.
“Then there will be time for questions and discussion over a cup of tea and light snack,” Mr Thandi said.
There is no entry fee for the event and all are invited to attend. NZICA said the association was thankful for support from ANZ Bank in organising the event.
