High achiever on target

Tony Chaudhary has done it again.
Completing over 60 commercial and industrial sales and leasing transactions worth close to $50 million has earned Tony the title of Bayleys Real Estate’s top South Auckland Salesperson – for the fourth year running.
And he is also as Bayleys’ second most successful commercial agent in New Zealand for the 2011/2012 year.
It has been a rapid rise to the top for Tony who has only been in real estate for over five years but has already become one of Bayleys’ most successful agents.
Based at Bayleys’ East Tamaki office, he works across the Auckland market and his sales over the past year have included a 59-hectare block of land in Silverdale for over $5 million and a host of auction sales which have in a number of cases secured vendors premiums tens of thousands of dollars above reserve.
One of Tony’s most recent auction transactions has been the under-the-hammer sale of Toyota’s Manukau dealership on Great South Rd for $3.75 million and have included a wide range of retail investment properties priced from $500,000 to $3 million.
Tony has a success rate of around 80 per cent in selling properties he takes to auction which he attributes to being knowledgeable about each property, uncovering as many potential buyers as possible, follow up skills and persistence and perseverance.
Coming from a corporate sales background, Tony says much of his success has been based around his large database of contacts within the Auckland business community. He is proficient in Hindi, Punjabi and some Gujarati, as well as English.
“My business is really people and client focused rather that area specific,” Tony said. “Building, relationships, trust and providing effective and efficient service are the main platforms of any successful business and this is what I focus on.
“I introduce clients to property opportunities around various parts of Auckland which not only saves them having to go through many agents but also means they benefit from a wide variety of available investments to choose from,” Tony said.
“With Bayleys being the largest commercial and industrial agency in the country, it means the company has the most varied selection of properties on its books. I work in closely with other Bayleys’ sales consultants to ensure my clients get every opportunity to secure offerings that are of interest to them.”
Tony said he got much of his business from referrals from clients that he has dealt with in past property transactions.
“Successfully selling real estate is all about providing extraordinary service and a lot of hard work and effort. I take pride in every investment I sell and strive to achieve the best possible result from both my vendors and purchasers.”
