Mahabodhi blasts: Four detained in Patna

Patna: Investigators on Tuesday (July 9) detained four people, including a woman, from Bihar's Patna city in connection to the Sunday's serial blasts at the Mahabodhi temple in Bodh Gaya town which left two people injured.
According to reports, investigators have questioned them for suspicious movement.
The Bihar Police on Tuesday morning issued a lookout notice for six people who used to work at the Mahabodhi temple but went missing since Sunday's serial blasts at the 1500-year-old world heritage site.
Meanwhile, local media reports said the Bihar Police is likely to hand over the investigation to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) after failing to get any major breakthrough in the case.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh and senior leader Arun Jaitley visited the blast site on Tuesday.
The Mahabodhi temple was re-opened for public on Monday evening. Buddhist monks performed a special prayer in the temple on Monday. The temple was re-opened for public after the one-hour prayer.
Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on the same day said 13 bombs were planted in the Mahabodhi temple complex on Sunday.
He said 10 bombs exploded on Sunday which injured two people.
