Worker Dies At Juice Factory
A worker has died suddenly at the Homegrown Juice Company in Mahora, Hastings, on Friday morning.
Police said they were called to the factory on Williams Street at about 8.40 am following reports of a sudden death. The case has been referred to the Coroner, and WorkSafe New Zealand has launched an investigation, reported Stuff.
In a statement, the company described the event as a “tragic incident” and said it was fully cooperating with WorkSafe, Stuff reported.
“Our focus right now is to support the family and our employees through this incredibly difficult time,” the statement said, Stuff quoted.
