A section of St Aubyn Street in central New Plymouth has been closed this evening as police respond to an unfolding incident. Reported by RNZ.
Authorities are urging the public to stay away from the area near Egmont Street.
Hato Hone St John confirmed they were called shortly before 7pm and dispatched an ambulance along with a rapid response vehicle.
Police remain at the scene and have advised people to avoid the area until further notice.
