Christchurch dairy owner hospitalised after stabbing in robbery
In a shocking incident that has come to light, a dairy shop owner in Christchurch has been taken to hospital after being attacked during a robbery at a dairy in Opawa.
Police received a call about the incident at around 5.40am on Tuesday at the Opawa Road store. When officers arrived, the alleged suspects had already fled.
According to RNZ, the owner was allegedly punched in the face and sustained stab wounds to the hands. An RNZ reporter at the scene described blood covering parts of the shop’s interior.
Authorities are investigating the robbery and have urged anyone with information to contact police.
