Celine Dion is reportedly preparing for a return to live performances, with plans for a concert series in Paris nearly four years after a health condition forced her to step away from the stage.
According to a report by Stuff, the 57-year-old singer is expected to perform twice a week at La Defence Arena during September and October. While no official confirmation has been issued on her website or social media platforms, French-Canadian newspaper La Presse first reported the development, with posters for the shows also reportedly appearing across the city. Industry publication Variety has similarly indicated that the concert comeback is underway.
Fueling speculation, Dion recently shared photos of herself in Paris on Instagram, which fans have interpreted as a possible hint toward an upcoming residency. She last performed in the French capital during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games 2024.
According to Stuff, Dion announced her retirement in 2022 after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare condition in which the immune system attacks the nervous system, causing muscle stiffness and painful spasms that can be triggered by noise, movement or stress. The diagnosis led to the cancellation of her planned North American tour that year, and she has since largely remained out of the public eye.
In early 2025, however, Dion shared an update on her health, expressing her determination to return to performing. That same year, she also marked the ninth anniversary of the death of her husband and former manager, René Angélil, in January, as reported by Stuff.
