Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust completes 23rd annual Summer Camp in 2026
Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust has successfully concluded its 23rd annual Summer Camp in 2026, continuing its long-running community initiative dedicated to children’s safety, wellbeing and personal development.

More than 100 children participated in the camp, which offered a structured programme aimed at promoting holistic growth through education, health awareness, and physical activity. Over the past two decades, the initiative has evolved into a trusted platform for preventive learning and community-led youth development.

This year’s programme included a wide range of educational and skill-building sessions. These featured a Personality Development workshop led by Godrej Sir, Brainobrain activities designed to enhance mental agility and concentration, a Drowning Prevention and water safety workshop, and a community safety session conducted by New Zealand Police. Children also engaged in dance, art and craft, sports, exercise and nutrition sessions, encouraging creativity, fitness and healthy lifestyle habits.

A highlight of the camp was an educational visit to Drury Fresh Ltd, hosted by Pabla ji and his family, who welcomed the children to their farm. The visit gave participants first-hand exposure to agricultural operations and community enterprise, along with organised hospitality.
Commenting on the milestone, Jeet Suchdev, Chairperson of Bhartiya Samaj, said, “For 23 years, this programme has focused on building confidence, safety awareness, and life skills through consistent community-led engagement.”
The Summer Camp remains a flagship initiative of Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust, reflecting its sustained commitment to nurturing young people and strengthening community wellbeing through long-term, youth-focused programmes.
