SIT announces the Inaugural Certificate Graduation Ceremony 2014

The Southern Institute of Technology is proud to announce the inaugural Certificate Graduation Ceremony 2014, which will take place at Stadium Southland Tuesday 12 August at 6pm. The Certificate Graduation Ceremony is to celebrate successful programme completion for graduates who have completed a certificate level qualification.Graduates for this ceremony are from a number of programmes ranging from health sciences, hospitality, organic horticulture, hairdressing and animal care science to business administration, construction, electrical, engineering and plumbing. Guest Speakers for the evening will be His Worship the Mayor of Invercargill Tim Shadbolt and Dean Addie CEO of EIS.
SIT CEO Penny Simmonds says “This is the first time we have had an institute-wide graduation ceremony for our certificate level programmes and we are pleased to be celebrating the certificate graduates success in this way. Many of these graduates will be moving onto apprenticeships and providing much needed support skills to the primary sector in the south.”
