The show that sold 350 seats just after launching tickets earlier in July has seen a spike in ticket sales with only two weeks into the main event.

With the popularity of the show going up every day, especially on social media, a prominent name and face from Bollywood have been introduced into a vital character of the show.

Jimit Trivedi, who has been in the entertainment industry for over a decade with roles movies like Bhool Bhulaiya with Akshay Kumar, 102 Not Out alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, in Gujjubhai The Great and sequel Gujjubhai Most Wanted alongside Siddharth Randeria and on small screen such as Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ek Doosre Se Karte Pyar Hum etc. will play the role of Kanhaiya, an integral character of the play.

“Jimit Trivedi has been entertaining us for almost a decade now with his outstanding comedy and performance in many Bollywood movies and been a great part of the Gujjubhai series, and most recently he stole our heart with an amazing comic timing and sharing the screen with two megastars,” says Prem Upadhyay from 4U Entertainment, the organiser of the show.

The lead actor of the play Paresh Rawal is known for his versatile roles right from playing diverse characters such as a Eunuch in the film like Tamanna for which he received critical acclaim donning such a difficult character. His most recent work was playing the real-life character of Sunil Dutt in the movie Sanju for which he received immense praise as one of the only few actors who could have done justice to Mr Dutt’s character.

The actor’s previous play with the same name created a wave of laughter riot across different countries, and he is coming again with a new script for Kishan vs Kanhaiya Reloaded. His film on the same premise as the play Oh My God raked millions in the box office and the new play Reloaded has promised to make the viewers fall off their seats of laughter.
