Telangana Rastra Samithi observe fourth State Formation Day

Telangana Rastra Samithi New Zealand (TRS NZ) branch celebrated its fourth ‘Telangana State Formation Day on a grand scale on Sunday, June 10.

The Supporters paid rich tributes to Professor Jayashankar and those who laid down their lives for the cause of separate Telangana state. TRS NZ set free 40 doves to mark the freedom for Telangana and conveyed their wishes for Chief Minister Kalakunta Chandrasekhar Rao’s (KCR) success in the Indian National Politics by setting up a Federal Front.

“We are very fortunate to have a legendary leader like KCR part of this historic Telangana movement and being NRIs we always showed our solidarity to our Leader. We thank KCR for leading this peaceful movement and giving us an opportunity to be part of it. Also, we are fortunate to see the state formation”.

He assured he would continue efforts to transform the State into “Golden Telangana,” TRS NZ President Vijayabhaskar Reddy Kosna said at the event. He also appealed all the supporters to spread the word about KCR’s Federal Front Formation.

TRS NZ Honorary Chairperson Kalyan Rao Kasuganti praised the four-year rule of KCR led government in Telangana and General Secretary Narsinga Rao Enaganti introduced two new committee members viz Rajeshwari Kondagari and Varun Rao Mechineni. Vice-presidents Jagan Reddy Vodnala and Rama Rao Rachakonda Congratulated everyone on the occasion of state formation day. Arun Prakash Reddy expressed his happiness over reviving tanks and construction of new water projects like Kaleshwaram.

TRS NZ women's affairs chairperson and Brand Telangana founder Sunitha Vijay said that apart from not just meant to celebrate the events; we have taken up initiative through Brand Telangana for the welfare and development activities for the benefit of skilled garment makers.

TRS NZ President Vijayabhaskar Reddy Kosna announced that Sunitha Vijay’s selfless service motto won the hearts of Rajanna Sircilla District Weavers. A skilled Weaver Hariprasad from the same district sent her a model spinning wheel (charkha) and a saree which fits through a ring on behalf of weavers which was presented to her.

Members Sunitha Vijay, Sridevi Krishna Pusarla, Varsha Reddy Patlolla, Sheethal Allam, Laxmi Kasuganti, Vijetha Rao Yachamaneni, Swetha Patlori, Gresham Kasuganti, Sejal Enaganti, Kiran Kumar Pokala were recognised for their support and announced as the official brand ambassadors for Brand Telangana and presented them with medals.
