Immigration: Massive overhaul coming around student visas (IWK Exclusive)

The government is very near to announce its first major change in current immigration regime, with massive overhaul coming around student visas.
This was disclosed by Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway in an exclusive interview with the Indian Weekender on Wednesday, May 30.
“We are very close to making first of our announcement, and that would be around student visas,” Mr Galloway said.
“I think that is the one that people would be looking forward to and is very close.”
“We are also looking at the labour market test, the accredited employer scheme. There would be some announcement around those areas in very near future as well,” Mr Galloway said.
