Talk series on ‘Tips for Happy Living’ in Auckland

During Swami Tejomayananda’s visit to New Zealand in April 2010, Aucklanders will get an opportunity to hear one of the contemporary masters of Vedanta speak on a very pertinent and down to earth topic, ‘Tips For Happy Living’, based on the book ‘Jivansutrani’ (Aphorisms for Daily Living).

Swami Tejomayanandaji states that people are fascinated with knowing about life after death but knowing about life after birth is more important and relevant and his ‘sutras’ for happy living are based on lessons learnt from his experiences of life- trials and deep understanding of the scriptures and contact with various saints and sages.

Some live ‘ordinary’ lives, that too complaining and cursing. However, some happily dance through live, sporting and playing ordinary or extraordinary roles, gaining mastery over themselves and others, making a mark everywhere they go and touch the lives of all they come in contact with.

Such extraordinary people are rare, and are remembered long after their departure. Tips for Happy Living show practical ways of how to live happily and outlive life.

These talks deal with matters of day to day living such as
• Turning potential to performance,
• Harmony in Relationships,
• Mind your mind, etc.
These talks are a must for the young and old alike in terms of giving direction to our lives or even resolving situations through a new insight.

When: 13th April to 17th April 2010
Time: 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm
Where: Dorothy Winstone Centre, Auckland Girls Grammar school, Howe street, Newton.
