A bus driver has been hospitalised in a critical condition after being stabbed earlier on Wednesday, October 4 evening.
The driver of Murphys Bus, bus number 361 was stabbed by an unidentified person while he was on the bus at around 5:45 p.m. police said.
Police said the man was taken to Middlemore Hospital in a serious condition.
A supervisor at the company told media that there were passengers on the bus when the man was stabbed did not know exactly what had happened.
Police have not made any arrests at this time.
Police has also appealed public to come forward with any information they may have.
