Police has just confirmed that they have located Mr Ramireddy Malapati who was a missing for the last 12-days.
The 25-year old man has been the subject of an ongoing missing person investigation since Tuesday, August 29.
Mr Ramireddy Malapati was located in Hamilton and is currently helping investigators with their inquiries as to his movements over this period.
Glen Innes Police has thanked all those who have assisted the investigation team throughout the enquiry.
“It was heartening to have such support across the communities that Mr Malapati was involved in,” Police said.
Mr Malipati was last seen at Mission Bay - a seaside suburb of Auckland City on Tuesday, August 29 at around 11:30 a.m.
Ramireddy Malapati was living with his friends in Ellerslie and had gone to Mission Bay with his roommate who dropped him near Mövenpick ice cream parlour.
The Auckland City District Police on Monday, September 4 had appealed to the public through its Facebook post to help police provide any information on the whereabouts of 25-year old Ramireddy Malapati.
