Road rage sparks another racist tirade in Auckland

The news of another incident of a racist tirade against an Indian New Zealander is going viral on the social media and the media around the world.
This is the second instance of racist ranting against Indian-New Zealander within last two weeks in Auckland.
Apparently, tailgating was the reason behind the racist slur at this instance, unlike in the earlier instance at South Auckland storage facility, where over speeding was the alleged factor leading to hurling of a racist rant.
Thus suggesting that for alleged perpetrators of racial ranting it do not matter how one is driving, what matters is that prejudice and venom come out at the first convenient opportunity.
This alleged incident happened sometime last week on a weeknight at 5 p.m., when Narenderveer Singh was threatened by a fellow car driver seen on the video apparently ‘unpleased’ with Mr Singh’s driving on the road.
Even worse, as reported on Mr Singh’s social media post the racial ranting did not stop then and there itself, and his car was followed to a nearby side street parking, raising some genuine concern about his safety.
The incident has been reported to Police.
Meanwhile, Mr Singh had spoken with Indian Weekender and confirmed that he was not driving slowly and it was the other man who was driving fast and rashly.
Police are investigating the matter.
