Harbour search for missing man
Members of the police dive team have joined the search in Waitemata Harbour for a missing 23-year-old Indian man.
 
AUT student Srikanth Rayadurgam, a part-time chef, was last seen on Thursday October 1 at midday when leaving the Mt Albert home where he lived in with relatives.
 
Mr Rayadurgam's wallet was found the following day by a cyclist near the Westhaven Marina. His backpack, some clothes and other items were found in the area a short time later.
 
Newstalk ZB reported yesterday that the dive team, which came to Auckland from Wellington on Tuesday to search for Mr Rayadurgam, was diverted to Henderson to help search for missing two-year-old Aisling Symes.
