Auckland Council Electoral Officer Bruce Thomas is disappointed that some candidate booklets have pages missing.
“As of this morning we have had 22 faulty booklets reported to us, out of a print run of one million. We have reviewed our stock and not found any other faulty ones.
“Affected residents have been sent new booklets and directed to www.voteauckland.co.nz
“I encourage voters to check out www.voteauckland.co.nz where all council candidate information is available online and searchable on a user-friendly site.
“Our awareness campaign also directs voters to this site.”
