The Bollywood male dance competition, Indi King, will present its 6th anniversary edition on 9th February. Yogesh, the founder of the competition, has created yet another unique concept for his passion for dance and stage performance.
The anniversary edition will also present the 2nd edition of ‘Dance2 – The Power of Two’, a duo dance form that is open to any dance form and music genre. The duo could be of the same or different genders.
“Yogesh has designed a concept which is not restrictive to the talent of our local communities. Our youth have the opportunity to perform on a glamorous platform at a glamorous event centre, which for some is a chance of a lifetime,” event manager Mumta tells us.
Manish, DJ Gabbroo of Radio Tarana, is also a long standing guest artist, singer/dancer at the event and is always successful in re-energising the audience after the interval break.
The host of the event, Dinesh Sami, tells us that this year, the contestant line up is set to dazzle all when it comes to talent and stage presence. “Everyone is working so hard to perfect and polish their acts - this is a must see event,” he says.
Both the competitions have been designed fairly that participants have an opportunity to invite their friends and family to not only come and enjoy a family event but also vote for the dancer(s) they support. 50 percent of this goes towards the decision of who the winner is. And the remaining 50 is derived from the marking guide completed by the 3 loyal and professional judges, Viraf Todywalla, Gina T and Kunaal.
