Hindu Council of New Zealand is organising a special function on Saturday, 6 October at the Rotorua Convention Centre at 6.30 pm to celebrate the recognition of Hindu Council by United Nations' Economic and Social Council (Ecosoc). It invites everyone --- all volunteers, supporters, participants at our various functions, activities and programmes.
There will be official function followed by cultural show. Because of limited seats, please make sure to book your seats by mailing at hindu.nz@gmail.com
The United Nations has honoured the Rotorua-based Hindu Council of New Zealand by granting the organisation special consultative status as a non-governmental organisation.
This can enable the organisation to take part in programmes set up and run by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (Ecosoc) Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) branch.
