Chinmaya Mission head to speak in Auckland

Chinmaya Mission New Zealand is organising a series of evening talk series in English on the Holy Bhagavad Geeta by Swami Tejomayananda – the global head of Chinmaya Mission worldwide.

“Guruji,” as Swami Tejomayananda is addressed in Chinmaya Mission, will deliver his discourses on the topic “Yoga of Knowledge and Wisdom” in English, which is based on the chapter 7 of Bhagavad Gita.

“Giving maximum happiness to maximum people for maximum time” is the motto of the Chinmaya Mission, and the Auckland centre of the mission will be organising this talk series at the Dorothy Winstone Centre, Auckland Girls Grammar school, Howe Street, Newton from the 16-20 April 2012 from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm.

Swami Tejomayananda travels around the world to spread the ancient Vedic wisdom eloquently taught by his world renowned Guru Swami Chinmayananda. Also, he has overseen the global expansion of many spiritual, cultural and social projects in India and overseas.

Fluent in Hindi, Marathi, English, and Sanskrit, Swami Tejomayananda's talks, written commentaries, and original music, poetry, and text compositions exude lofty spiritual insights, incisive Vedantic scholarship, and universal harmony. Over 300 centers in the world with activities and projects spanning spirituality, culture, education, and social service draw inspiration from his spiritual leadership.
