On 24th March 2011, Thursday, Sachal Pran Pratishta was done for Shirdi Saibaba marble statue (from Shirdi), at Thiru Subramaniyam Temple – 41 Stanhope Road, Ellerslie, Auckland. This pran pratishta was done by temple priest Pandit Ajay Tiwari with all the vedic procedures. Shirdi Saibaba Temple committee and its members feel proud for this achievement first time ever in New Zealand.

This is a devotional gift to all the Baba devotees and community in New Zealand. Baba is available for darshan 7-days a week and 365-days a year.

We are also doing alankar for Baba statue 7-days a week and small Baba aarthi, 7-days a week both morning and evening. All this service to Baba is only possible with the permission of our Sadguru Sainath maharaj.

Saibaba Temple executive committee started strategic planning to build Baba temple as soon as possible. We are requesting devotees for a generous donation of $1.00 dollar a day. We have launched this donation scheme on 25th February 2012, after performing Satyanarayana Pooja which received tremendous response.

Every Thursday from 7.30pm we are conducting Bhajans, Paalki seva (similar to Saibaba Temple, Shirdi), Ashtotram and Shej Aarthi followed by prasad. Every Saturday from 11.00am we are performing Abhishek, Alankar and Ashtotram for Baba & Lord Baljai followed by Madhyan Aarthi and prasad.

All devotees are welcome with families, to come and do Abhishek and Alankar for Baba and Lord Balaji. Shirdi Saibaba Temple doesn’t charge for any of these devotional sevas. We feel honoured when devotees say – “we are not for business - we are for community”.

Shirdi Saibaba Temple of NZ celebrated, first time ever in New Zealand - Pushpa Yagam (for Lord Balaji), Pongal, Ugadi (Telugu New Year), Sita Rama Kalyanam, Ganesh Chavithi and Srinivasa (Lord Balaji) Kalyanam.
