Strengthening the divine connection at Papatoetoe event

Hundreds of devotees thronged the Swaminarayan Complex in Papatoetoe to seek the blessings of His Holiness Shri Siddheshwar Brahmrishi Gurudev. The free for all event on March 12, 2023, was organised by the World Spiritual Forum NZ, which is a  Charitable Trust.

Laxmi Jhunjhnuwala, a disciple and one of the event organisers, told The Indian Weekender, "People were thrilled to hear a truly accomplished spiritual master share his wisdom on the importance of unconditional love, spirituality, faith, and living a meaningful life. Having spent nearly 50 years in deep, rigorous meditation, his insights were unlike any other. Gurudev (spiritual leader) blessed every soul with his eight divine spiritual powers and nine divine treasures.”

Former National Party parliamentarians Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi and Parminder Parmar were among the attendees. Jhunjhnuwala said she was overwhelmed to see the warm response from community groups. “The attendees were in awe of witnessing and listening to a guru who knows the way, shows the way, and goes the way," she said.

Such events hold a special place for the Kiwi Indian community as they exemplify a rich history and vast knowledge of India's sages. “India has an incredible history of seeding the world's greatest spiritual giants,” said Jhunjhnuwala.

The devotees said they were delighted to have attended the event and taken the blessings of the guru. Anita Kumar, a disciple, said, “It was indeed a great opportunity to witness this auspicious satsang. Guruji’s blessings were a miracle. Jai gurudev.”

Sharing the same sentiment, another devotee Rashi Patel said, “It was indeed a lifetime opportunity to hear the guruji and experience his vast spiritual knowledge. I will never forget those blissful moments with the spiritual master.”

The event concluded with the distribution of maha prasad among the attendees. 

Shri Siddheshwar Brahmrishi Gurudev is widely respected and revered for his wisdom and guidance. He began his spiritual journey at a young age, studying under various masters and gurus. His teachings emphasise the importance of living a spiritual life while fully engaging in the world. He believes true happiness and fulfilment come from aligning oneself with the divine and living in harmony with the natural world.
