Dedicated community worker Baljit Kaur passes away

Well-known community worker and Manager of the Waitakere Ethnic Board, Baljit Kaur, passed away on the morning of 4 January following a year-long struggle with cancer. The end came when she was at her West Auckland home.
The 62-year-old dedicated community worker leaves behind her husband Manmohan Bains, daughter Malvindar Kaur Bains and son Karamjit Singh Bains, who, along with other family members were with her when she passed away.
