Humm is going for a 48 hour Radiothon broadcast to bring joy to kids less fortunate this Christmas. Breakfast Show Host, Vijay and Drive Show Host Sandy will be On-Air for 48 hours nonstop, without any sleep from 12pm Thursday 08th December to 12pm Saturday 10th December 2022. During this period, listeners are invited to drop by at any time at Humm station, 17 Hargreaves Street with gifts for the less unfortunate and non-perishable food items.
Humm started the trend of Christmas for Kids Radiothon in 2015. In 2020 over a thousand of listeners walked through Humm doors to donate gifts and over 20 thousand pieces of gifts were collected and handed over to the non charitable organisations. Last year due to covid, $112,000 cash was raised to buy food hampers for the needy people.
We all know that Christmas is the time for giving, remembering and thanking our family and friends by way of a small gift. But, a lot of less fortunate kids still go without any gift and enough food when the whole world is in the festive mood. It is an effort by Humm to bring smiles on those kids and hope no one in the family goes without food.
Drop by Humm office to drop food items and toys for kids anytime between 8th December 2022 ( 12 pm onwards) till 10th December ( 12pm). The address is :
