Police have arrested four young people following two ram raids in Auckland overnight.
Thieves used a car to break into a shop in Greenhithe on the North Shore and stole cigarettes and alcohol shortly before midnight.
Officers made the arrests after using road spikes on Don Buck Road in Massey.
A car was also used to break into a shop on Onehunga Mall in Onehunga early this morning.
Nothing was taken and police are still trying to find the culprits.
