Maha Lakshmi Homan in Hamilton

The Hamilton Sri Balaji Temple Trust is conducting a Maha Lakshmi Homan and pooja on the January 29 next year at the Phoenix Hall in Hamilton. Devotees and friends are invited to participate and receive the blessings from the attendance of the Homan and pooja.
The prayers are conducted to celebrate this Goddess and invite her to your family and homes and receive her blessings and fortunes for the coming year.
Goddess Lakshmi is often portrayed as beautiful goddess with four arms in a lovely sari and is often pictured either standing on a pink lotus or standing on a lotus flower. She has two lotuses held in a back hands and her front hands offering blessings and in one hand offering wealth which is shown by coins flowing from one hand.
The Homan which invokes the Goddess will be conducted by Chandru Kurukul from the Ganesh Temple in Papakura. Participants are encouraged to make contact with the Temple Trustees as soon as possible as they have only 108 ‘yantrams’ to give away.
The donation of $51.00 will secure your participation. The Homan and pooja will be conducted on January 29 at the Phoenix Hall starting at 9.00am ( Saturday ).
Mahaprasad will be served after the pooja.
The Temple Trustees have embarked on purchasing a fairly large section by next year end and are inviting donations of $1000.00 per family or individual for this purpose. This payment can be made over 10 monthly instalements of $100.00 per month or one off payment of $1000.00.
The trustees are keen to take this project off the ground and are serious in getting this started as soon as possible, so devotees are kindly encouraged to make this donation. Further donations are graciously accepted.
