Nagpur: India defeated New Zealand by an innings and 198 runs on the fourth day of the third and final cricket Test here and won the three-match series 1-0 here on Tuesday.
The Kiwis were all out for 175 runs, after resuming at overnight score of 24 for one, in the second innings shortly after the lunch break at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium at Jamtha.
New Zealand had scored 193 runs in the first innings while India declared their first inings at 566 for eight.
