83 New Cases reported today: Sunday 29 Aug 2021

83 new cases were reported today, Sunday August 29th 2021, taking the total to 511.
To date, 453 of the cases are epidemiologically linked, with the remaining 58 links being established epidemiologically and through our ongoing genome sequencing, Bloomfield says.
As of 10am, there have been over 32,000 contacts identified.
No new unexpected waste water tests received.
The number is similar to the total reported yesterday - and officials and experts will be hoping this signals that the country's Delta outbreak might be at a plateau.
In Auckland there are 496 cases and 15 in Wellington.
There are seven subclusters. In the Birkdale one 68 and Mangere church 237.
There are 34 people in hospital and two in ICU.
The country remains at alert level four until midnight Tuesday, when all districts south of Auckland will move to alert level three. Aucklanders have warned it may be several more weeks before the city can move down alert levels.
