Ranjna appointed to advisory body

Auckland: Noted community worker and businesswoman Ranjna Patel has been appointed to the National Advisory Council on the Employment of Women on October 8. Ms Patel is one of three women appointed to the body. Minister of Labour Kate Wilkinson made the formal announcement.

As well as holding the position of a director at major health service provider East Tamaki Healthcare, Ms Patel, who was awarded the QSM last year, is a trustee of the International Swaminarayan Satsang Organisation; President, Manukau Indian Association and a member on the South Asian Advisory Board of the Manukau District Police.
