A Kiwi-Indian temporary resident is reported to have died in a road accident on Saturday, July 3.
The Indian Weekender has reliably learnt that the deceased person was a passenger in a car that crashed into the Rangitata diversion Race near Metheven.
The person is reported to be the passenger in the ill-fated car, and the police were still looking for the driver.
The police is in the process of informing the family members overseas.
It is learnt from reliable sources within Kiwi-Indian community that the person was from the Indian state of Haryana.
