QR codes coming on public transport and ride-shares

Public transport services and small passenger services will need to display QR codes by Thursday 3 September. This includes taxis, ride-shares (such as Uber and Zoomy), buses, and trains.

Airlines and inter-city buses are excluded because their ticket systems make contacting passengers quick and easy.

Together, face coverings and QR codes will help stop the spread and keep transport workers and  public transport users safe.
