Finance Minister Grant Robertson has announced a $10 million one-off funding for e-commerce support for small businesses to help them prepare for the post-Covid-19 world.
The minister was speaking in the parliament announcing the budget which included many announcements targeted on “rebuilding together” and creating jobs.
It is likely that this funding is aimed at helping small businesses to remain agile in the new Post-covid-19 reality, where driven by the compulsions of new normal of physical distancing, e-commerce could be much needed for basic operations.
