Small and medium enterprises will be the focus of the second Global Economic Summit to be held in Mumbai, India, in January.
The 2011 summit on trade and investment, with a special emphasis on Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) segment is scheduled from January 27-29, at Expo Centre, World Trade Centre, Mumbai, the Indian High Commission in Wellington announced today.
The summit is being organized by the All India Association of Industries (AIAI) and the World Trade Centre, Mumbai.
The summit would comprise Conference, Expo and B2B meetings. This event seeks to forge cross-continental business alliances by focusing on the several verticals which promote trade and investment such as Trade Promotion Organizations, World Trade Centers, Industry Associations, Government Agencies and Multilateral Organizations. Participation from over 30 countries is expected to the Summit.
The Summit would also feature an Expo to showcase the SMEs, International trade and investment opportunities and the various verticals which facilitate economic growth.
The conference would focus on the government policies for promotion of bilateral trade, enterprise development worldwide, technology development among SMEs, cluster approach, financing options, skill development and other pertinent issues.
The participation fee is US$ 1200 per company/organisation which includes 6sqm furnished expo booth, entry of two delegates to the conference and B2B meetings.
