Sri Sri Ravi Shankar escapes gun attack unhurt

Bangalore: An unidentified gunman fired at the car of Art of Living leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Sunday evening in Bangalore but the spiritual leader and proponent of peace escaped unhurt, sources said.
He was attacked at his ashram and one of his disciples was hurt on the thigh as the bullet hit him, sources said.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar told TV channels he was unhurt in the attack which occurred around 6 pm. He was returning to the ashram after a discourse when the attack took place.
The cause of the firing was not known immediately.
